Do you offer financing?

Yes, at Marcus Medical, we offer financing for surgical and non-surgical procedures. If you are ready to make an aesthetic change, we make the process as easy as possible with a financing option.

How long does it take to recover from a facelift?

A facelift, at Marcus Medical, is a custom procedure that varies from person to person. Each person heals at a slightly different rate, so the recovery time can vary. We use advanced surgical techniques that may lead to a shorter recovery time. With the SMAS approach, the incisions are typically shorter, with a shorter recovery. You should feel confident revealing your fresh look with confidence within three to four weeks.

What type of anesthetic will I need?

Many facial procedures can be performed with local anesthesia and intravenous sedation. For more complex facial surgeries, general anesthesia may be required. Patient health and safety are always a primary concern, and we rely on board-certified anesthesiologists, along with advanced surgical equipment to ensure the highest level of patient health and safety.

At what age can a nose job be performed?

Adolescents can undergo a custom nose job, with parental consent. Girls aged 15 or 16, or boys aged 17 or 18 are good candidates for rhinoplasty. It is necessary for the nose to have reached its final size before performing the surgery, and girls reach that point earlier.

Why should facial plastic surgery be performed by a specialist?

All plastic surgeons have studied for many years, but at Marcus Medical, our surgical team has achieved the specialty of “otolaryngology, head and neck surgery,” a surgical specialty focused on facial plastic surgery. The extent of training and experience found at our practice is above and beyond many surgeons, and can help you achieve superior results, whether in a facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, brow lift, eyelid surgery, or other types of facial surgeries.

Will I be allowed to return home after my surgery?

Some procedures we perform will require a one night stay at a private recovery center, while many others will allow you to return home to rest and recover. The decision regarding whether you are eligible for outpatient treatment will reflect your age, general health, and the extent of the procedure.

What can I expect after facial plastic surgery?

Any facial plastic surgery involves incisions. It is normal for the body to react to surgery with some bruising and swelling. The extent of the procedure will affect how much swelling and bruising you experience. You can help limit it by following all aftercare instructions, applying ice packs as directed, and keeping your activities to a minimum, other than gentle walks. You will have prescription pain medication to keep you comfortable in the initial stages of healing, which is generally just a few days, after which just over-the-counter medication is needed.
